Exciting Events and Community Activities

Join us for impactful events that bring together families, volunteers, and communities to support autism awareness and create lasting connections.

Autism Charity Walk, September 2024

Autism Charity Walk, organized by AAA, brought together 55 participants from New Jersey and 70 from Long Island with free bus transportation to NYC. The event featured a visit to the South Street Seaport Museum, lion dance performances, fun games, and raffles. We provided free lunch for 130 people and distributed 150 Autism awareness workbooks and support materials. All proceeds support autism awareness and resources in our community.

Beyond the Spectrum, April 2024

Beyond the Spectrum, a vibrant celebration of neurodiversity, took place in Princeton in April 2024. The event featured addresses from Princeton's mayor and Princeton University student Whitt Harper, an autism advocate who delivered a powerful speech about his journey of "unmasking" and living authentically with autism. Attendees enjoyed cultural performances including lion dance, magic shows, live music, and interactive activities like cupcake decorating and face painting.

Online Raffles, October 2024

Princeton Autism Awareness Alliance held an online raffle drawing on October 29th, 2024. This annual event brought together families and supporters across the community. The grand prize offered therapeutic horseback riding sessions, matched to the winner’s nearest location, an especially valuable therapy option for children with autism. A heartwarming family reunion package at Chick-fil-A was awarded as the gold prize, while the silver prize winner received an inflatable sensory rocker chair.
